England Cricket Board Announces Test, ODI Squads For Bangladesh Tour

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Friday declared a 17-part Test and 15-part ODI squads for Bangladesh visit to play cricket arrangement, including two Tests and three One-Day Internationals, UNB reports


Alastair Cook will lead the England Test group while Jos Buttler the one-day group. Other than his ODI captaincy, Lancashire wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler came back to the Test squad surprisingly since October 2015.

The English side Test squad included three uncapped players - Zafar Ansari, Ben Duckett and Haseeb Hameed.

The 19-year-old Lancashire opening batsman Haseeb Hameed has been incorporated into the Test squad interestingly and there is likewise a place in both squads for Northamptonshire's productive batsman Ben Duckett.

Britain chose four spinners in the Test party, including the uncapped Surrey left-armer Zafar Shahaan Ansari close by his area commander Gareth Batty, will's identity hoping to play at this level surprisingly since 2005.

38-year-old Gareth Batty played seven Tests for England including three against Bangladesh. The quartet is finished with Worcestershire's Moeen Ali and Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid.

The English groups are planned to land in Bangladesh on September 30 and will stay until November 2 to play the Test and ODI arrangement in Dhaka and Chittagong.

The ODIs are planned to begin on October 7, while the Test arrangement on October 20.

Test squad: Alastair Cook (skipper), Haseeb Hameed, Joe Root, Gary Ballance, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Jos Buttler (wk), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Zafar Ansari, Ben Duckett, Steven Finn, Adil Rashid, Gareth Batty, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood.

ODI squad: Jason Roy, Sam Billings, Ben Stokes, James Vince, Jos Buttler (skipper cum wk), Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Ben Duckett, Liam Dawson, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Jake Ball, David Willey, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood.
